20th consecutive day of protests stretched across Tibet – Tibetans in multiple areas continued to rise up; at Wara Monastery, Central Tibet, monks staged a peaceful protest that ended after senior lamas intervened to stop a bloody crackdown. Monks from Shiwa Lhathim Monastery, eastern Tibet, marched towards local government offices shouting pro-independence slogans.
